I don't think I've come across this previously, but if it's on maps with crawlers, I wonder if it might be mitigated when we resolve the issue that is causing performance issues when Crawlers are on screen (which is part of our next patch).

Yep, that's the issue we mentioned this Tuesday and that we're trying to expedite a fix for. Here are some steps that have helped other users:

If it's a persistent crash, please try the below:

- Please try switching to DX11 mode. You can force this with the following if you don't get the option automatically:

- In Steam : Outriders Demo -> Manage -> Properties -> Launch option-> Write the below in the textbox without the " "

"-force -dx11"

Additionally, please check whether your intro movie has been renamed or deleted. If it has, please try renaming it to it's original name and launching the game then.

We are already working on a fix for this issue and will implement it as soon as we can.

Just came on to post this too. I was about to document 8 crashes of 2 different natures (crashed on Outriders black compass loading screen and froze completely with UE4 crash window). I decided to try DX11 and it launched successfully.

Only thing to add is after the initial patch the game launched perfectly fine on DX12, it was just the subsequent ones.

I shut the game down and re-launched on DX12 and it booted up fine again.

This was on Steam client. I didn't re-install the game.

Also not experienced back to back crashes like this.

Just to confirm: You needed to launch once with DX11 in order to get the game to successfully launch. Thereafter you can swap back to DX12 and it worked?

How often does this occur? It is possible that after 3-5 of these crashes, the issue resolves itself and doesn't reoccur.

Speaking for pyro specifically, but I'm sure this is the case with other classes as well:

Will the class buffs include a rework of the legendary sets? Currently Acari is the only one worth using.
Torturer's set: Bonus isn't worth sacrificing stats and mods that you would be able to collect and mod onto Epic Gear.
Reforged: Damage output makes this set unusable on higher CT's. I've run a few CT15's with it using Firestorm tree: The skills it buffs don't help much here. Ash Blast is way more useful than thermal bomb, making this set again sub par to Epic Gear. Feed the flames is only useful to regen ammo and heal. The extra damage the set provides here is irrelevant at best.
