By the sounds of it yes, you should be worried, as it seems one of the ambassadors is in fact an A-Hole. I would suggest pulling them out of the loop regardless. What’s the benefit of sharing anything with them early? Promotional? Free advertising? Would they give feedback on patch notes that would in fact change what you plan to roll out in said patch? If the answer to the last one is NO, then the leaked post of yours could have been just shared with the general Reddit community. I would have been happy with it. It says hey, we’re working on it and we are almost there. That’s literally all we wanted to know.
As mentioned, I was already on my way here to provide all related information, but before I was able to some folks took it upon themselves to be the mouthpiece, not considering that their actions actually sabotage themselves.
Regarding your questions about benefits of sharing full details with ambassadors early:
We get an early indication of how changes will be received. We won't necessarily change a patch content (because timelines make that impossible), but it can help us prepare to react or ambassadors will point out things we missed before we go live.
By getting advance notice, ambassadors can create content ahead of time without needing to create and rush it out as soon as the patch lands. This generally means higher quality and more thought through videos.
Sharing info ahead of time with ambassadors evens the playing field, so that more content creators have a chance to create relevant content at the right moment, rath...
You do what you and your company feels appropriate. Anyone who's a fan with a brain know that you guys care. Sorry that it got leaked, that was definitely inappropriate. Some of these players don't know how it works in the corporate world. You're a solid dude with the best intentions for the game. Keep it up, I'll be playing for a long while regardless of any of my criticisms.

Not a lot of detail there; it’s big, you’re working on the patch notes, and maybe it releases this week. That’s literally all the news the whole community was asking for. I don’t see how this is a blatant leak, there are literally zero details of what’s in it.
I agree - but it's not so much the content as the principle.
For example, If I were to share full patch notes with ambassadors ahead of time (as I have done in the past), do I now need to worry about those being posted to reddit before I've posted them myself at the appointed time?

I have always tried to communicate as much as I can, whenever possible. I have spent days of my life writing news updates for the community. Please check my handle if you don't think that's the case.
If I have not shared anything yet, it will be for very good reasons, including incomplete or unconfirmed information which, if shared, would confuse people more than provide tangible benefits.
The point here is that the very reason I joined this this reddit thread was to let everyone know that the patch is coming. I did not expect things I said in private to be shared here already. But now that's happened and I'm not sure what information can be provided to Ambassadors in advance without it immediately being spread far and wide, so the system falls apart.
Patch is looking likely for a release tomorrow.

Rarely have I seen a leak confirmed so blatantly. Shame really - this will impact what I am able to share with Ambassadors in future.

Passing down items for resources to another character is considered an exploit?
The exploit referred to here is not the passing of resources from one character to another to share resources around and help the lower level character get ahead.
The exploit in question allows anyone to unlock ALL MODS, including Worldslayer mods within an hour for all characters, including high-level characters.
We've created a hundred new mods for Worldslayer. By using the above mentioned exploit, high-level players were able to unlock all mods by taking advantage of low-level character resource costs, within a very short time.
It essentially broke the entire "search for mods" gameplay aspect.
That's an exploit, not intended gameplay.

There is a huge difference between getting loot, XP , progress in game because parts of the game are broken , and getting them with a 3rd party tool while creating content claiming they never used 3rd party tools.
Also , there is a huge difference between random players using any kind of cheats/exploits and even creating content around it, and an official Ambasador doing the same thing.

No where did I equate Exploits to Third-party Tools.
I even specifically called out Third party tools separately to make that distinction clear.
There are of course a bunch of big no-no's including but not limited to:

Great post, well written, but also fundamentally wrong on one important point.
There is a world of different between an exploit (an unintended result from pre-existing ingame interactions) and an external modification.
Exploits are essentially things the Dev and QA team missed, and thats not intended as an insult. Corner cases exist in every implementation.
Third part tools modifying game code are a whole other ballgame because there is no world in which a dev or QA team could have caught that.
Philosophically it would serve the PCF team well to make that distinction and treat exploits vs third party modifications as different things.
I.e.: fix your end game loop instead of placing 50%+ of your playerbase who reset the final boss fight in TG into the same basket as someone who externally modified game files. If I wasn't the type to try to give someone the benefit of the doubt I would be rather offended by the implication you just made.

But besides that: What about fixing your terrible design decisions (like loot-tables resulting in 99,9% of the loot being crap, terrible drop-rates of APOC gear, the most terrible and pointless grind in the newer gaming history or frustrating "targeted loot" areas (like one single item from the targeted loot in (purple) APOC quality as "reward")? I guess the amount of "cheaters" would drop drastically. And by the way: Fix the static, repetitive trials by adding some randomness in the mobs spawns or else. Thanks.

Not at all. Nowhere did I equate those two. None of the exploits I mentioned require external tools. They can all be done within the game or on your PC/Console without third-party tools.
If you're confused about this part of the definition...
Anything that requires you to manually tune a setting external to the game is also an exploit.

Resetting your PC Clock is as simple as changing the time on your PC. No third party tool required.
Anything that requires a third party tool, such as a trainer, is very obviously a cheat, not an exploit.
I'll spare you guys the need to watch that one guy's video that people keep linking to: you need to add "-force -dx11" (minus the quotes, and mind the dashes and the space) in the game's launch options. Without those arguments, mine was still getting stuck on a black screen after launching.
I'd like to add that linking a damn video when the instructions are so simple is a waste of everyone's time. It's even worse considering that the actual launch option only appears on-screen for about 2-3 seconds before he moves on to showing in-game footage. He doesn't even stop to address it other than saying "it works with only one tweak".
The force dx11 command should no longer be necessary to be done manually. The reason we managed to move from unsupported to playable was because we Steam backended that launch command to be the default for all players.
Hey folks - I understand the frustration here and appreciate the desire to see something done.
On the other hand, this sub is currently skating over witch-hunting territory, so I do want to point out that such topics need to be dealt with carefully and with consideration.
While I will take the time to look into this, I won't be putting anyone on public trial. Especially considering that I count at least one outraged person (not an ambassador in this thread who is equally guilty of using "unorthodox" methods to get ahead in the game.)
I will be discussing the matter with Laserbolt as well as checking internal tools to understand what, if any, inappropriate conduct has gone on.
I handed the ambassador group back to our content creator manager team a while ago, so I don't normally deal with issues such as membership or applications myself, though I do offer input and recommendations where required. This will likely be one of those ...

Could you confirm what gear level you are playing at?
I'm looking into this to better understand what the expectation is re. retroactive fixes - I'll update here when I have confirmation of news, but it may be a case of the change only applying to newly dropped gear if those attributes are stats that can only be determined when the item is created (dropped), not edited thereafter.
