Hi @maxeyum,

Please could you upload the relevant console log from the session this happened?

Also, if this happens again and you can grab a screenshot that would be great

To do so:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll pass it on

It’s likely you joined a mission with “Power Supply Interruption” which have increased darkness and require your torch

Super, thank you!

It’s an intended feature we’ve switched on

The mission likely had “Power Supply Interruption - The lights are out, bring a torch”.

Ah okay! Would you be able to upload it to a reputable hosting service (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox etc.) and link it here please? Thank you!

Nice one, thank you! I’ll pass the log on to development.

It’s a shot in the dark, but it may be worth trying Verify Game File Integrity, to see if this resolves the issue. To do so:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Beta Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Hi @FredSled,

Thanks! If the second file is too large, could you upload it to a reputable hosting service (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox etc.) and link it here?
