Sorry Guds, could you also please provide us with your most recent console logs? Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:

Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Thank you in advance.

This occurs when Steam doesn’t recognise DLC ownership correctly (as mentioned above) - keep restarting, and it’ll resolve itself.

Try briefly disabling BullGuard, and see if the issue persists.

Sorry, I’m not sure I understand. I take it you’ve made no changes to your computer’s hosts?

Unfortunately, this is a localised issue that we aren’t able to solve on our end.

So being able to play the Modded realm isolated the issue to our anti-cheat service, Easy Anti-Cheat. Could you please:

Remove the ‘Certificates’ directory located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\EasyAntiCheat

Then, proceed to repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Then, ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ via Steam:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
  6. Launch Vermintide 2

Thank you Froh!

Hey Guds, could you PM me the URL to your Steam profile so we can check for potential account corruption?

Have you recently made any changes to your computer’s hosts? (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

I ask as changes to the hosts can result in this error.

Otherwise, I can only recommend that you continue to press the issue with your ISP. :frowning:

We heard this down south too. It was… lovely :’)

To identify if the issue is in displaying the launcher, you can try launching the game in “launcher bypass” mode, you can do that by right-clicking the game in your Steam library and selecting ‘Properties’, ‘Betas’ and then opting into the Bypass Launcher beta from the dropdown.

This at least will narrow it down. For most issues in having the launcher ‘launch’, this note from Julia should help:

download the appropriate version of the .NET Framework from the Microsoft website linked below. The installer should then prompt you with an option to repair your installation.

Be sure to restart your PC afterwards!

You could try disabling the launcher.

Right click on vermintide 2 in your steam library, hit properties, go to the ‘betas’ tab and select the ‘bypass launcher’ beta. The bad thing is you can’t change any setting that is only changeable from the launcher (like directx version to use, for example), but it might let you into the game, at least until a FS dev can give you a proper solution/answer.

We unfortunately don’t know. Long story short, I’ve tried contacting them with no success as I don’t have a customer number, but one of our players has successfully raised the issue with their Technical department - I’ve asked them to keep me posted. All we can do is wait. :frowning:

I wanted to ALT+F4 but I was host. I’m a good host.

Before Kaelus grasses me up, yes I did accidentally throw a grimoire away during the bell escape and yes I am mortally embarrassed.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe this was ever resolved. I’ve bumped it with our developers.

Completely agreed!

Fatshark, you guys have done an outstanding job with these last 3 maps! Kudos!

Looking forwards to crashing into some of your matches today, guys! :joy:
