We're looking in to updating the OST with the next patch. However, some music is actually just small loops and samples weaved together in game play and wouldn't be released as singular standalone tracks.

In V1, for example, the Steam Room in one of the Karak Azgaraz maps wasn't a standalone track. I believe (but need to confirm) the same can be said for the Fortunes of War piece.

All of the file size for Vermintide 2 is the game. There's a potential saving to be had if we were to 'remaster' (so to speak) but that would require every single person re-downloading the entire game client. There's very little space taken up by cut or unused material though.

Sooner than March 8 but not today. The change is indeed a backend change.

Ideally we'd need to see your locally generated log since it doesn't seem to be uploading. fatshark.se/support <- make a ticket there including your latest console log and crash dump from the app data folder(s)

  • WIN KEY + R
  • In the "Run" box, type...
    %appdata%
    ...and press enter.
  • Find the Fatshark folder in there. Delete the Vermintide 2 folder within.

it is on top of the list. Tried launching modded realm without mods still crashes on startup.
I'd suggest resetting your mod environment. Unsubscribe to all mods. Clear the workshop folder, remove your appdata settings for Vermintide 2 and start over. Probably have a mod that's no longer sanctioned causing grief.

Anything running in the background? 100% CPU usage is not inherently a bad thing when gaming, but can sometimes indicate a bottleneck

Definitely mod-related, possibly Third Person Equipment or Buff Info.

Try restarting Steam, your PC or clearing Steam's download cache. Sounds a lot like a known issue where the browser will appear empty for some players, we're looking in to why this occurs.

First of all thanks for your quick response, this was the last crash report I got. About the update being from steam: I don´t know why but the days before I played on high grafic quality settings with no/minor performance issues and it alsmost never crashed. But since the steam update yesterday it kept crashing on high settings. I´m currently experimenting with different graphic quality settings to find out what my PC can handle now without any issues. ...

As above, any updates you’ve received have been from Steam. They’re redistributables (to be specific) but this isn’t communicated well in the client, leading players to believe the updates are from us when they’re not.

Pop your crash reports over to me and I’ll check ‘em out.

There's multiple potential solutions for this error.

Firstly, you may need to change your DNS. Instructions on how to switch to Google DNS can be seen here: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

This error can also be indicative of a problem with your Operating System so please ensure you have the latest updates for Windows installed.

Additionally, you may need to uninstall your existing version of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, reboot your PC and reinstall from the Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Did you run the prologue again? The issue is long since resolved.

We agree with a lot of the sentiment in the comments here. The game isn't competitive but cooperative, and even the green circles in-game right now breed toxicity and are something we'll be switching up in the future. A battlelog style system will not be something we exolore.

This is it. The size listed is the size the game was at release. I'll look to update it today to reflect the games current size.

Originally posted by Malacar: As far as I understand, this is not a bug, but a design decision. Most charged attacks can't be cancelled into block, but with some weapons this is also true for light attacks. These are mostly massive weapons (glaive, two-handed hammer, two-handed axe). I think this is meant to reinforce the feeling that the weapon is big and powerful but unwieldy.
Spot on as usual Malacar.

Try reinstalling Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:
