It's a bit necessary. Say you're in a match, but the back end goes down. Would you prefer we told you whilst you were playing and give you a chance to tap out early and go make a coffee, or right until you get to the end and get booted out ... Read more

We haven't provided you with commercial messaging, as noted in another thread (and touched on above), the "breaking news" tool we use to convey downtime, patches, or interruptions which might cause adverse problems to the game has simply malfunctioned and returns some HTML which includes a domain URL where the breaking news text is typically stored. :) We'll have this solved soon once all the name servers are updated appropriately with the correct information.

When it works, we use it in very rare circumstances where we need the attention of players who are in-game. Right now it's broken though, hence the HTML you see. We're working on it :)

This seems to be due to a migration of our web services (website etc) to a new host/provider. what you're seeing is an error caused by the game being unable to pull our "breaking news" files which we update when there's... well, breaking news. :)

TL:DR - our breaking news tool broke. We're on it.

The small update today brings an end to Mondstille - we hope you got your snazzy animated frames!

This year will bring a lot of new content to Vermintide 2. We recommend circling March 8 in the calendar, and joining us for the one year anniversary of Vermintide 2, with streams, giveaways, cake, and more.

Looking in to the 2hh specifically, I can see you looted this for the first (and only) time on January 7th at 21:12:20 (server time). This appears to be the only instance of the illusion you have obtained since Bogenhafen went live.

Yep, it's a known bug. My guess as a non-coder type dev, the system probably checks for the melee slot. Bardin Slayer has a Melee and a Ranged Slot but is given an exception to put a melee weapon in the second slot - just the slot is still considered a 'ranged slot'. A fix will be coming. Sorry 'bout that.

I'll look in to this one for you Moschusbock. We are able to see all the activites on an account in text form for the past few months, so it'll take me a while to parse through, but I'll get back to you.

In the mean time, duplicates are seen to not happen, but they will appear to be duplicated when you open the illusion list in the same session after having opened a Bogen-Box and found an illusion. You'll see it twice - one instance of the illusion being the "old system" type illusion, and one being the "new system" type - that is to say, one that takes up inventory space and one that is part of a master list of illusions that you own. Relogging is required to tidy up the "old system" style illusion from your inventory, freeing up precious space. We look in to a lot of these reported duplicates and in each instance, there hasn't been a dupe (since we fixed 'actual' dupes some months ago).

On consoles we have two different social wheels. One for the inn and one when in a mission. Whenever you select something we show the icon above the player who said its' head. We also have context sensitive actions for bots/players like pick up ammo/health/grims or tomes. You can also tell a player to drop books by activating the social wheel while focusing on the player. It was created to enable comminication between console players
