Those affected could try the latest 1.6 beta (see the sticky thread for details) to see if the patch resolves their issues.

We found a potential avenue of attack to our servers that could cause all kinds of trouble that we had to address with the latest patch. I don't know why this caused a small amount of our players that don't fit in with the described circumstances of the linked post to suffer SSL errors, but after a day (today) of remote debugging the issue for one of our spanish players, our engineers managed to find the root cause and solution, from what I understand.

I don't know what the eta is but I heard that the full fix will require a patch to the game. Given it's Friday and we generally avoid dumping any patch live right before the weekend, it will likely not be until after.

Thank you for your patience and I'm sorry I don't know any more of the exact details.

There's a bug with the shotties right now, a couple in fact. as opposed to secret changes they're just unintended bugs we've fixed and are waiting to patch out :)

Run DX11 or potentially fiddle with a character shading setting (the name escapes me and I'm not at my desk)

We don't plan on keeping it unfixed :P

We've solved it internally but it's not the kind of thing we need to rush out in a hotfix.

It's a known bug with the DX12 implementation.

Originally posted by J.P.: so was the way it was before 1.5 some issue because it was perfect? these menus appeared to scale to the resolution set or was it due to as you mentioned that you thought that people wanted this?
The menus didn't scale with UI at all, the higher the resolution, the smaller they got. We heard a lot of people feedback on higher resolutions that they wanted it to scale appropriately. This patch simply corrects that incorrect behaviour of there being no scaling.

BTW if you got problems like that you should post them in the bug section of this this board.
for things like this, a support ticket and partnered log would be ideal, since they're so hard to reproduce a log is pretty much essential in helping us pin it down.

I'll speak to our UI guy, but it's not industry normal to have options to resize menus and such. HUD sometimes (but rarely truth be told), but menus, overlays or such - pretty much not a thing. Look at some industry leaders and they scale UI and HUD almost entirely on resolution, like we do today in 1.5. We'll be offering additional scaling on the slide... Read more

I made a video from desktop recording so you can see. I type in the chat to try to explain it once I'm in the keep

We’re working on some improved scaling options right now.

If t’s not too much hassle, could you pop a screenshot over and highlight the parts you don’t like? I can then pass this on to our UI Programmer. :)

Firstly, please report any issues in the 'Bug Reports' discussion. I monitor this throughout the day: https://steamcommunity.com/app/552500/discussions/8/

We also can't do much without a crash report, I'm afraid.

We’re looking in to this (we suspect a Steam issue), but it can usually be addressed quite easily by either:

Restarting Steam
Restarting your PC
Clearing Steam’s download cache
Changing Steam’s download region
