@Valorean, we have another update on the beta_launcher to try.

Firstly, please can you ask your friend to do the following -

1. Ensure Steam is run without Administrator permission
   -1. Right-click the desktop Steam.exe icon
   -2. Select ‘Properties’
   -3. Select the ‘Compatability’ tab
   -4. Make sure the ‘Run this program as administrator’ checkbox is not selected
   -5. Select ‘OK’

2. Delete the launcher folder in the Vermintide 2 directory, here:
   \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2

3. Open Steam and verify integrity of game files
   -1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
   -2. Select ‘Properties’
   -3. Sel...

Oh! I see, my bad. I don’t think there’s a way to get console logs for console I’m afraid, no.
But on top of that, apologies, I went to double check after you said that and it turns out that this fix has not made it to Console and, due to some technical issues, won’t make it to console for a while.

It will come but it might have to wait until the next patch, which will take a while. Super sorry about that!

Gotcha, please do! And if it does bug out, please provide us with the console logs of the player who was acting as host.

Just in case, here’s how to upload your console logs to us:

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
5. Upload the appropriate console log to your forum post

When did this last happen? The hotfix that solved this issue was launched like a few hours after your original post I think, hence why I’m asking.

They are currently working on a potential fix that we can push to the beta_launcher later for your friend to test. I’ll let you know once this is available for your friend to try

Our game is rated M for blood and gore, not for sexual content. You all were told to stop discussing NSFW (including discussing certain sexual acts and objects) and refused.

Sorry to hear this.

This may be being caused by corrupted save data. Do you play in Online mode?

If so, I recommend to try deleting your local save data (please note, that doing so will cause any Offline mode progress to be lost. However, all Online mode progress is stored safely on our servers)

@Valorean, the launcher developer has told me they are out of suggestions unfortunately though based on the screenshots you have shared previously, they have asked how the launcher behaves for your friend for Darktide (MS Store)?

I’m aware that the launchers between both games share many elements, so I assume this is why they are asking about Darktide and how this launcher is behaving.

Skeletons shouldn’t receive any friendly fire, if you’ve got a recording or some kind of evidence could you make a bug report on the forums?
