Let’s begin the 23rd edition of our competition!
Create a stunning screenshot and submit it on the War Thunder Steam Community Hub with the tag #WTscreen23. You have time until 15.07.2022 to submit your screenshot.

After that date, 6 winners will be selected (3 of which will be the highest rated by the community and 3 selected by our judges), each of which receive a reward of 300GE.

• A new UI has been enabled for aircraft that displays flight parameters, engine mode, ammo capacity and aiming markers for bombs and missiles.
  
• An error has been fixed that sometimes caused lack of damage from pressure to the crew of ground vehicles with the transmission located in the crew compartment when the transmission was hit.
  
• Pressure damage area when AP shells with a mass of explosives of 0.2-0.5 kg detonate inside the tank has been increased.

Commanders! You have probably already seen fireworks that War Thunder celebrates important dates with, such as New Year or Victory Day. We have changed the way they work a bit.

Firstly, the fireworks will no longer be displayed on the battlefield: that bothered some players. Now they will only occur in your hangar. Secondly, for worldwide celebrations like the aforementioned New Year and Victory Day we’ve added national holidays for each nation in which War Thunder is translated: for example, Independence Day. And thirdly, now you can define when the fireworks will be displayed just for you.

On July 4th, 1776, thirteen British colonies in North America declared their independence and formed a new nation — the United States of America. The Declaration of Independence that declared equality of all people under the law has become one of the most important documents in history.

From July 4th (11:00 GMT) until July 7th (9:00 GMT)

Play 3 battles using American vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “US Independence Day” decal.
