No way! Now, airfield anti-aircraft guns won’t stop shooting at the wounded and disabled enemy aircraft that are still able to fight even with a wing off. A crippled vulture is still dangerous, so let the shells from AA guns nail them for sure!

  • T-72A, T-72AV (TURMS-T), Т-72B, Т-72B (1989), Т-72B3 — a bug where the spring wasn't attached to the machine guns has been fixed.
  • The incorrect display of the compass on some vehicles has been fixed.
  • An issue of a freeze with a following crash after a few minutes in battle on the Mac version has been fixed.
  • The third crew slot has been removed from the reward for completion of basic training.
  • The cost of the “Talisman” modification on reserve vehicles has been increased from 80 to 190 GE.
  • Dynamic campaign achievements “Free Swinging” and ”Fun with Friends” have been removed. Rewards for the previously completed achievements will not be revoked.

Aircraft model, damage model, characteristic and weaponry changes
  • MiG-27M - Additional countermeasure blocks (chaff, flares) have been added. A preset with 2хR-13M1 no longer requires research of the R-13M modification and is available as default. Combined presets with R-13M1 missiles still need to have the researched R-13M modification.
  • A-5C - 750 pounds M117 bombs, blocks with Type-130 rockets, additional wing pylons and combined presets with new weapons have been added to suspended weaponry. Presets have been adjusted to reflect the addition of the new pylons.
  • F-5A (China) - Countermeasure blocks (chaff, flares), a radar warning reciver (RWR) and related modifications have been added.
  • F-5C - Radar warning reciver (RWR) has been added.

An export version of the Freedom Fighter in service with the United States Air Force will become one of the main prizes of the “Export Order” crafting event!

The F-5A in service with the US Air Force will become the top event jet fighter in the American aviation research tree as the main prize for the participants of the upcoming crafting event “Export Order”. Since the introduction of the F-5A into the ranks of Chinese aviation, the Freedom Fighter has established itself as difficult to learn, but very interesting to play. In 1909, the United States Military purchased its first aircraft. Through WWI and WWII, the importance of controlling airspace on the battlefield had grown significantly being used in every aspect of war and peacetime use. In 1947, the need for a formalized branch of service to be established to further the development and deployment of America’s Air Forces was seen as vital to modernization and organization efforts. Today we salute the USAF on their 74th Birthday! The USAF today continues to meet the highest standards possible, producing many of the finest pilots the world has ever seen.

Until 07:00 GMT on the 20th of September,
play 3 battles with an in-game activity of 70% or higher in random battles while flying US aircraft of rank II or higher and
get a unique “U.S. AIR FORCE” decal in honor of U.S. Air Force Day.

  • A bug with the armour analyzation mode, where armour plates of the same thickness would display with different colours, has been fixed.
  • A bug which would allow aircraft to land successfully in shallow water without breaking their landing gear has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the AIM-9J missile to not lock onto targets in SB mode without activation of the AGM-65’s missile camera has been fixed.
The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

Improvements
  • A warning message when the BR of the squad player’s vehicles differs from the BR of the squad leader’s vehicles has been added when queuing.
  • Display of the actual BR of a player’s vehicles or squad’s vehicles in the queue window has been improved. The numbers are now more visible.
  • Display of an aircraft’s contacts has been improved and the distance of their appearance has been increased. This simplifies visual search and detection of the aircraft at medium and long range as well as against the surface background.
