Today, the People’s Republic of China turns 75! The official announcement of the formation of the PRC was made on October 1st 1949, and since then this day has become the country’s main national holiday. A flag-raising ceremony takes place in Tiananmen square, cities across the country are decorated with flowers, fireworks are set off, and a series of holidays begins on this day — Golden Week.

• Icons that display on the nation buttons in the hangar (RP bonus, discount and objective), except for the currently selected nation, are now stacked in a group to save space and reduce visual load on the interface if they are wider than the nation button. When you hover over a group, a tooltip is displayed with the contents of all icons in this group.
  
• When selecting a nation in the hangar, the selected nation button may expand slightly to accommodate all currently displayed icons.

In this month’s Pages of History, you’ll be at the center of events that took place in different theaters of war. Belarus, the Philippines, Egypt and Hungary: take part in battles with the vehicles corresponding to these historic battles and receive prizes.

The Air Superiority Tournament is Back, Register Now for the Qualification Stage!

For the second time this year, the famous Air Superiority aircraft tournament is back! It brings together the best War Thunder jet pilots who compete in a 4v4 format, this time with new unique maps and rewards.

During the next 4 weekends, you’ll have the chance to qualify for the Finals of the fourth Major Esports event of 2024.

Today, we’re ready to present to you the final version of the Vehicle Research Bonuses, which has just gone live today! For those of you who participated in the recent testing, the following changes have been made since then:

• The number of battles with a bonus has increased from 3 to 5;
  
• A 25% bonus has been added to ranks I-III;
  
• While a vehicle is considered new, the bonus does not apply to it;
  
• The bonus will stay active for all remaining vehicles in a tree even if you have the top vehicle unlocked;
  
• The bonus now applies to the top vehicle in each nation as well. Due to this we’ve dropped “new nations” in the name of the bonus. It has instead been renamed to Vehicle Research Bonuses.
