I've been playing the M728 and with 250m/s I put the sight distance control to 200m "zero". It takes a few seconds, but done at spawn/beginning of the match, isn't too bad.

It's happening!

The ‘Apex Predators’ update will be available to all War Thunder players in the coming days! Together with new premium vehicles coming to the game: MiG-21bis “Lazur-M”, F-104S TAF, Kfir Canard, F-4J(UK) Phantom II, J-7D and MiG-23ML. To make rank VIII research more comfortable we decided to change the bonuses in rank VII premium packs which now include 2500 Golden Eagles and 20 days of premium account.

If you already pre-ordered, then in addition to original bonuses (unique titles and camouflages), you will receive 500 Golden Eagles and 5 days of premium account for each pre-order at update release.

Some of you have already tried the latest Dev version of War Thunder and shared your impressions and opinions on the forum. We have studied your feedback and made two important decisions we are going to tell you about.


Changes in ranks for aircraft In the Apex Predators update we will add several new aircraft of rank VIII. And 30 days after the release of the update we will move some aircraft of rank VII to rank VIII: : F-14A, MiG-23MLA, MiG-23MLD, MiG-27K, Harrier GR.7 и Mirage 2000C-S5. Also the F-104S will be moved from rank VI to rank VII. If you are currently researching these vehicles make sure you get them before transferring to another rank as you will need to open a new vehicle rank to research them afterwards.

I don't think OP was really trying to make a suggestion... And there is not a good place for playerbase to directly/reliably interface with developers for obvious reason (Think about how many developers there are, and how many players there are.... It would be like trying to drink from a fire hose...).

Sooooo.... It's not going to have thermals.... So what? Vehicles can do reasonably well, even very well, without having to lean on a thermal crutch.

And.... Its relevancy hasn't even really been determined yet; Most/all of that is going to be determined by his BR, which isn't even going to be semi-permanent until weeks/months after being introduced.

Hi, repair costs are mostly based on vehicle efficiency. If a vehicle is being used efficiently well by players, then the repair cost will be higher.
