Hi, we recently did testing from August 22nd - August 29th for this feature. We're now in the process of analysing data obtained and reading feedback. We'll likely be making some changes based on these two factors, and then it'll be implemented sometimes after the major update releases. Our closing statement on it is here, in cased you missed it:

The 7-day testing phase for Research Bonuses For New Nations has now concluded. We’d like to thank everyone for taking part, posting their results and leaving feedback and constructive criticism. We’ll now be taking a look at the testing results as well as feedback and will get back to you at a later date — soon after the upcoming major update.


General
  • A bug that caused all radar types and missile radar seekers to ignore launched weaponry (bombs, rockets, missiles) and chaff has been fixed. (Report[community.gaijin.net]).
Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums ... Read more

Welcome to the 135th War Thunder Steam Screenshot Competition!
Thanks for sharing your captures with us last week! This week, take a picture with a “destroyer”! These often hard-hitting vehicles are great assets when on your team, but if they are not- watch out for loose bombs and sneaky torpedoes! gaijin just dragging it out as long as possible in implementing any kind of reward for actually playing the game by calling it "testing".

We have no announcement date for this yet, you will have to keep an eye on the news for this, but it would likely be sometime in September.
