Hello!

We’re still discussing this and looking at options from a design perspective. We haven’t made any decisions yet, and we won’t be making any changes of this sort in the next week.

Please feel free to continue the discussion, as your feedback is highly valuable to us.

Thank you.

November 12

Here are some adjustments that were implemented into the Season of Mastery Beta over the last couple of weeks, that deserve to be noted.

  • The cost to train riding skills and the cost to purchase level 40 mounts have been reduced.
  • The Gordok Tribute chest in Dire Maul can no longer be looted by players that are not on King Gordok’s tap list when he’s defeated.
  • The healing provided from the Diamond Flask trinket on-use effect no longer benefits from bonus +healing or spellpower.

Hello, no. It’s not BC at all. It’s World of Warcraft Classic.

We’ve been enjoying the discussions around the upcoming Solo Shuffle feature announced in an interview earlier today. I wanted to stop by with an update that we’re hoping to have more to show on this feature next week, so be sure to keep your eyes on the news section of the website. :smile_cat:

Hello!

First thing you want to double-check is that you’re logging into World of Warcraft Classic, not Burning Crusade Classic.

On your launcher playscreen, it’s a dropdown right above the PLAY button labeled GAME VERSION & ACCOUNT. If that says Burning Crusade Classic, click on it and change it to World of Warcraft Classic.

Just wanted to paint this blue and add a thought. It looks like we mentioned Soulbinds in the video.

We don’t have plans to update Soulbinds in Eternity’s End.

Narratively, the Eternity’s End raid tells two stories, one after the other. Our current plan for the release of the raid looks like this:

  • During the first week of the release of Eternity’s End, the raid will not be open.
  • Beginning with the second week, the raid will open for Normal and Heroic difficulties, and the first eight bosses will be available in those difficulties.
    • It will not be possible to fight the final bosses on any difficulty during week two.
    • This is intended to provide a moment to tell the story in a way that accounts for the passage of time between the events of the eighth encounter and the subsequent encounters.
  • Beginning with the weekly reset of week three, all bosses will be available on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.
    • This will also be the opening of the first wing of the raid on Raid Finder difficulty.

The next World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Content Update is just around the corner. Watch an exclusive developer preview of the latest chapter in the WoW saga.

Get Ready for Eternity's End

Zovaal, the elusive Jailer and ruler of the Maw in the Shadowlands, has made his next move—and with it, he threatens to rewrite the rules of reality. In Eternity's End, you'll face him, and perhaps save Azeroth and the Shadowlands from a fate worse than death. Eternity's End features include:

New Zone: Zereth Mortis

Zereth Mortis was created by the First Ones as a workshop to create afterlives. Its denizens—the automa—have built all that exists in the Shadowlands. It is a strange, otherworldly location that defies all concepts of reality or physics. The Jailer intends to use the secrets of Zereth Mortis to reshape reality and bend it to his malevolent will.

In version 1.14 of WoW Classic, we intentionally implemented the automatic-dismount when casting a spell or interacting with an object, as a quality of life improvement.

For the time being, if you’d like to disable this, it is possible to do so via CVar commands.

The commands look like this –

/script C_CVar.SetCVar(“autoStand”, 0);
/script C_CVar.SetCVar(“autoDismount”, 0);
/script C_CVar.SetCVar(“autoUnshift”, 0);

– where 0 disables the function, and a value of 1 would enable it.

We’re looking into making this an interface toggle setting in a future version of WoW Classic.
