Updated the info to make it more accurate:

  • Win/Lose Team Order is a variable that depends on your position in a team list by the end of the match. A player who gained less points than the others scores Team Order = 1, the next player scores Team Order = 2, etc.

They jump from boxes at B onto the roof of the greenhouse then step up and up from there. Needs a fix ASAP. Can’t imagine playing Ranked and losing due to someone being on top of the map like that.

Noted :)

On June 18 we introduced the very first Season in Warface: Breakout. Ranked matches are one of its main features. Today we are here to tell you all about how this new mode works.

What are Ranked matches?

Ranked matches are a game mode that allows you to compete with other players and move up a Ranked ladder. This mode differs from Casual matches in a number of ways. Here is a full comparison:

Casual and Ranked

Maps for Ranked matches are the same as for Casual (Sandstorm, Storage, Oasis, City and Facility).

How do I start playing Ranked?

To enter Ranked matches you do not need to qualify or gain an entry level. The mode is available for newcomers right fr...

Dear players,

First of all, we want to sincerely apologize for the quality of the update we delivered yesterday. We see that the game experience has become worse for most of our players both on Playstation and Xbox, and that the fixes introduced in this update did not actually fix the overall state of the game. In fact, we tried to add as many fixes and Quality of Life changes as possible, but rushed too much.

Most importantly, you trusted us and we failed you. We will now try to do our best to make it right. Let’s discuss the most important issues that appeared after the update and how we will deal with them.

Freezes

Long freezes came back after the update, and the overall performance suffered greatly for both consoles. We are planning to introduce a hotfix this week (today or early tomorrow) that is aimed at fixing this particular issue.

The hotfix should improve the situation with long freezes and shop freezes, as well as reduce the over...

Although Warface: Breakout is quite easy to learn, some of its mechanics might seem not so clear to you, as we can see from your feedback. That is why we will explain some of the game mechanics from time to time, just to make them easier to understand.

Today’s topic is loot crates. We will talk about ways to get them, their content and other details.

What are loot crates?

Loot crates are boxes that contain cosmetic items you can use to customize your characters and their equipment. Nothing that you obtain from loot crates will give you any in-game advantage, it’s all about the looks.

How to get loot crates?

Common loot crates can be obtained while leveling up. You’ll get 1 loot crate for each level up to level 51, then every other level (53, 55, 57 etc.). You can see how many crates you got below the PLAY button.

Alternatively, you can always visit a game shop and purchase the loot crates there.

What are the rewards?

Dear players!

Last week we encouraged you to share with us our suggestions on how to improve the non-technical aspects of the game. We have received quite a bunch of your feedback and have discussed it with developers.

Let’s see which things we will implement and when.

Will be introduced in the nearest updates

1. Harsher penalties for ruiners in Hardcore

Your suggestions: You want a more severe punishment for those leaving the match. You also want a system of penalties for team kills when after the first kill of an ally, all subsequent damage dealt to the teammates returns to the player.

Our feedback: We will introduce a new system of punishment in the nearest update. We will see how it goes and if you are satisfied with it. If not, we will continue improving the system until hardcore matches become a place for competitive matches, not for team killing for fun.

2. Nerf SMGs and automatic...

Many of you have been waiting for Season 1. You have trained well in Hardcore matches, but are you now ready to challenge other competitive players in Ranked games?

At last, we are proud to announce that Season 1 of Warface: Breakout starts on June, 18.

What is a season?

Starting from June 18th there will be always a season active for Warface: Breakout. Let’s briefly talk about what these seasons are:

  • Seasons will be free for everyone to participate, seasonal progression will be available for everyone;
  • A season lasts approximately 90 days, so there will be a total of 4 seasons a year (3 seasons in 2020);
  • Each season will include new features, quality of life changes, and a lot of new cosmetic items obtainable via seasonal progression;
  • Each season will include three ranked ladders with unique rewards obtainable only during this season in Ranked matches;
  • Seasons will also feature DLCs containing cosmetic item...

Dear players!

We are aware that you are all impatient about the next patch! And we are looking forward to it too.

However, it is not enough just to come up with a patch, one needs to verify it for both consoles, so that all of our players would share the same game experience.

Unfortunately, we did not take into account how much time it could take to verify the patch, so we won’t be able to deliver it today. Yet we’ll work hard at the weekend to install it as soon as possible and we will keep in touch daily renewing the ETA of the patch.

Thank you for your understanding!

Yours,

Warface: Breakout team

UPD: Tomorrow, guys. Just confirmed :)

Dear players,

Thank you for reporting different game issues to us - today our team is ready to share with you the updates on most of them.

Let’s start!

Game freezes

After a series of tests we managed to figure out the cause of most freezes - this happens due to several interfaces loading at the same time.

In our next patch coming to both consoles this week we have reworked some of the interfaces to avoid it, so this should fix most of the freezes happening in the match. In our next patches we will keep dealing with this problem, making the freezes happen less and less frequently and - eventually - disappear altogether.

Movement and hit registration

This nasty problem that frustrates both you and us has a top priority in our team right now. We are already working on improving the hit registration, applying and testing different types of netcode and movement patterns, and once we deal with the freezes problem, our work on ne...

Hi everyone!

Many of you have already played enough Warface: Breakout to reach level 50, which is commonly considered the end of the progress. However, this is not the case.

Mastery levels

In fact, it is only the beginning: after you reach level 50, you start gaining Mastery levels. There is an infinite number of Mastery levels, so your progress will continue no matter how long you play. Each mastery level requires 200.000 experience.

Reward boxes

You'll also get a reward box every time you get 2 mastery levels. No worries - this will also keep happening infinitely or until you get everything available from the reward boxes.

So, there is progress after level 50 :) Next time we will tell you how armor works in Warface: Breakout and what do you need it for.

Thanks for playing our game!

Yours,

Warface: Breakout Team
