It’s going to be an exciting winter, Tenno!

Today during Devstream 165, Community Director Megan Everett and the Devstream crew announced a number of important developments regarding the future of the Origin System. Crucially, they revealed a new update coming later this year, as well as a new timeline for the release of the highly-anticipated The Duviri Paradox.

THE STATE OF DUVIRI
The Duviri Paradox is currently deep in development, and will ultimately include even more unique features than those announced during TennoCon 2022! However, in order to make this the strongest update possible, we’ve made the decision to delay its release until 2023. With Duviri shaping up to be very different from our previous open worlds, this additional development time will help us deliver the experience you deserve.... Read more

Hi TennoGen artists and lovers!

I’m here to share some news about how TennoGen rounds are going to be judged moving forward: in short, we are removing Round deadlines and will be reviewing submissions on a frequent internal schedule.

Previously, we would announce a deadline for TennoGen Round submissions, and consider all creations submitted before that date for the next TennoGen Round. As years passed, the time between these deadlines increased and the size of the Rounds grew and grew. This evolution had an undesirable impact on both our internal team and the artists themselves. The bigger the Round, the longer it takes to release, and the longer artists wait to see a return on their work, only for it to possibly be missed by the community amongst the 20+ other amazing items in the Round.

Those of us who work on the TennoGen team have been exploring ways to improve this process, and we’ve decided to remove Round deadlines altogether. Now, submission... Read more
