Because it's new. The mode has been very well received, but it's only been out for a few days. We need to make sure the queue for the mode will continue to support it until we know more about how players engage with it.

Yes that is correct. We are improving our drop system by having drops be automatically added to player accounts without the need to sign out/back in if you were already logged in, among some other small improvements. Rest assured, they will return in 12.6!
