Cannot complete “Crushed Dreams” mission in AC Valhalla on PS5. There is supposed to be a letter or ring or something on the body beneath Scarborough cliffs, but I cannot interact with it. Symbol is lit up on the map as a mission yet to be completed, yet it’s impossible to do so.
I see this was a known bug a year or two ago and was allegedly resolved. Well, I can say that as of April 2022, it has not been resolved at all. I am on the latest updated version of Valhalla, which is 1.5.something.
Bugs like this (there are two other items that cannot be picked up from an English house) mean I cannot gain all the Trophies, which means I’m losing interest in playing the game, which means I won’t be buying any more DLC, which means you won’t get any more of my money!
If this mission is so bewilderingly hard to fix, why don’t you just delete it completely or mark it as completed for everyone? It’s hardly a major plot vehicle!
