A while back I came across the ‘Hidden Justice’ world event in the Siege of Paris expansion. After finding that I could assassinate both of the thieves when choosing the greedy option, I reloaded a save and recorded the conclusion. As satisfying as it was to punish these thieves and take everything from them, I have wondered if a glitch was at work here. Was I not supposed to be able to assassinate these guys so easily, did I get lucky, or did the developers know that assassination could be performed in the second before combat began?
