[2022] Why can't the PC version support wireless controllers?

My Dualsense works wired, which is nice, but I don't understand why the game can't work with the same input when it's wireless?

Is it possible to make wireless work? Would it be a lot of work?

Can anyone explain why wireless is a problem when wired is possible?
