Before patch 1.0.4, I was experiencing massive FPS drops after long game sessions or ALT+Tab back to the game and an occasional CTD or Freeze.
The game was running at 60+FPS with the occasional dip to mid-50s. That was until the problem happened and the FPS drops to low-20s, or if after a long gaming session I would ALT+Tab back and it would drop the FPS to single digits. To fix it, I would have to end the session and start a new one.
Since patch 1.0.4, I do not experience the occasional massive FPS drops, CTD or Freeze. The patch fixed "the occasional part" of the problem. Now it happens all the time "ALT+TAB" is not required.
My gaming sessions won't last more than 20 minutes before one of the three problems happens.
