Hello everyone,

I am trying to download AC Valhalla using Ubisoft Connect, but I can't download more than 16,17GB. I have restarted the download more than 5 times, but it always stops at the same 16,17GB mark, with the following error: "Ubisoft Connect is unable to start your download. Please check that you have an active Internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again."

I am pretty confident that I have an active internet connection, and more than enough hard drive space. I am using an external SSD, but I never had a problem downloading/installing games in it. (Hyper Scape works fine, for example)

I can't resume the download, nor verify the game files.

It is worthy to note that at that download mark is where the game becomes ''playable''. I assume the problem arises in the transition between "not playable" to "playable". With that in mind, I thought that there were missing read/write permissions or the anti-virus was hindering the initial installation. So, I tried running Ubisoft Connect as administrator and disabling my antivirus, but with no luck.

I followed some suggestions in the internet, involving renaming the download file and changing DNS but that didn't solve the problem.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

Hey there, sorry to hear this! Could you try downloading it onto an internal HDD? Just to see if it gets beyond this point, as we advise having the game on the same drive as your OS anyway.

You can always move the files to the SSD afterwards.

Hey there @viralflow, thanks for getting in touch about this. Similarly to what my colleague previously mentioned, if possible, could you please try installing the game onto a different drive? Let me know if that helps.
