With the Ragnarök expansion you added another item quality tier, divine. But why are some items still capped at mythical tier?

For instance, the spear from the Valhalla/Odyssey crossover quest barely predates the DLC, yet is capped at mythical tier. It was great when that was the max tier, now it is meh. But it doesn't stop at items predating the DLC (if that were supposed to explain it), the newest items in the games, the ones added with the Forgotten Saga mode, are also capped at mythical, making them not all that great, really. And the preorder set that came with Ragnarök, while not capped at it, is still only mythical tier as opposed to all the other store gear that was retrofitted to divine tier - though you can buy it at divine tier quality now. Unless of course you preordered, then you can't as you already own the ghetto version.

So please tell me, why?

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the constructive discussion and suggestions!

@orldan I'm sorry to hear you can't upgrade gear to Divine. This is an option only available if Dawn of Ragnarok is active on the account for regular gear, as the ingots required for it can only be found in Svartalfheim.

If the gear was Divine quality before and was reverted, it would only be if Dawn of Ragnarok is no longer active on the account (can mainly happen if it gets refunded, or if it was part of a subscription that has expired). Your screenshot shows no Platinum ingots even listed, that definitely indicates you don't have the expansion on your account. This is exactly how it would work when playing cross-platform as well, when the expansion isn't purchased there.

Now if you do own the expansion, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support directly, as order/purchase information can't be discussed on public posts, to maintain the security of your personal information.
