This is what I think I remember doing.
- I completed Jorvic.
- The game prompted me to go see Hytham. He sent me to Wincestre because there were Order there. I cleared Wincestre.
- I think I then pledged to Hamtunscire. Then remembered I did not do Eurvicscire after Jorvic, having been sidelined by Wincestre. (I wanted Jorvic and Eurvicscire done so the map was tidy, before moving south again to Hamtunscire.) .... Therefore before leaving Randvi to do Hamtunscire, I pledged to Eurvicscire, thus cancelling Hamtunscire.
- On completing Eurvicscire, I find now I cannot return to the Hamtunscire story arc, that I did not start.
At least I think that is what I did. There is no king-icon in place in Hamtunscire on the alliance map, for me to pledge to clear. Nor is there a raven to signify a completed story-arc region.
I am not sure, but this may be a bug. There is some kind of bug that stops people comleting the end-game. (Or maybe I caused a bug by switching the region I pledged to.)
The England map is complete other than Hamtunscire. ....... However there are Vinland and Hordafylke to do. They both have king-icons in place.
Does it mean we are supposed to complete Vinland and Hordafylke, before moving on to being able to do Hamtunscire? Is that the natural order of things.
Am not so sure because I vaguely remember already having pledged to Hamtunscire and then instantly changed pledge to Eurvicscire. That's probably twenty hours gameplay back though so I can't recall. I played Eurvicscire since then. I play Valhalla thouroughly and clear all the wealth, mysteries, and artifacts. Am at power level aprox 480, so do all side stuff.
I have even been reading about the Hamtunscire story arc to see if forgot that I did some.
