I went to follow him and he just went off he wooden dock and now runs in a circle trying to get back on the wooden path. I went and did other quests and came back, hoping i could do literally anything else, and i cant.

Hi @boulder1028 I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to progress in the quest 'A Hidden Weakness' as Bernard is stuck.
I have reported this issue to the development team to investigate.
Just to confirm, as it may help the development team to reproduce the issue, did you accidentally knock Bernard off the bridge when walking/running beside him? Also if you go into the water next to him are you able to force him back on to the bridge or does he attempt to move in a different direction, or keep going around in circles?
Also if possible do you have an earlier save that you can load before you started the quest without losing too much progression? If so could you please load the save and try starting the quest again.
