[2022] Unable to defeat the drinking champion in the Roman Ruins when using a keyboard

@AORUS2017 thanks for the information provided and for sharing those Reddit links.

I'm afraid that we do not provide support on Reddit which is why those particular threads have not been seen. We do understand that some players may have struggled with the drinking games, however this is generally a gameplay issue with the timing and pressing the correct direction/button. I can see that one player mentioned this in one of those Reddit posts:

"So, after months of giving up on ever winning a drinking game, S.O was up later than normal and was helping me figure it out tonight. I've finally caught the trick of it after watching him try these and some joint trial and error.

Time the drinks closer to the A button in the inner circle - the closer in on the circle you hit A on the drink timer, the larger the gulp.

When you get the stagger notice, hold your joystick in the direction of the stagger notice and time the drink! This flick it then quickly press for the drink nonsense I keep seeing on the boards threw me off for months now. Just hold the damn thing over that way and press A when it's time to drink again.

I'm now making the booze tour for all the games I've been avoiding. You only get to win money one time so make it count and go big. Save and reload till you win if you don't want to lose the coin.

Very frustrating all this time losing and it was just that dang simple to just hold the stick over at the same time I hit A again"

I will discuss this with the QA team and get back to you shortly with an update.

I have spoken to the QA team who have watched your videos and can see that you have not timed the the drinking correctly. They advised to press the space bar when the circle is just over the edge of inner circle and not when its in the middle as this will make Eivor drink faster.

We have also noticed that you are playing the game using a TV. Is it an LG C2 that you are using?

TV's are known to have a higher input lag than a monitor. Have you enabled gaming mode on your TV to reduce the input lag? If not please try this.

If the issue still occurs could you try using a monitor to see if that makes a difference.

They also tested the champion in the Roman Ruins and were able to defeat him on their first try. From the example you can see they missed one and were hitting the space bar on the edge and the middle of the inner circle.

Fantastic news though, I'm glad to see you were able to beat the Champion!
