Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to proceed.
This issue has been already reported to the development team and it will be resolved with a future update. Once the resolution is deployed, we will let everyone know through the patch notes.
In the meantime, there is a temporary workaround that you can try which was suggested by another player and has worked for other players, which is to set the graphics settings to high and then try again. After you have done this you can set your graphics settings back to their previous state.
