After completing the dailes for Reda my Eivor returned to home and from there on out I could not get the main menu to open. I tried moving him to another spot, same problem. The esc key worked for other things, just not for opening the main menu so I couldn't do a "manual save," nor could I quit the game the way it should be quit.

I've taken note of your report, and I'm sorry to hear that an Issue with the main menu prevented it from opening on PC !
For the purpose of our investigation, in order to isolate the Issue, I invite you to provide us with the following :
Did this happen again after restarting the game ? Was it always after completing a contract from Reda ?
Did you use the Photo Mode shortly before the problem started ? Does using Alt+Tab let you use the menu after going back to the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla? If the problem keeps happening, does it still happen after following the steps of our dedicated PC troubleshooting guide ?
This will help check, for example, if corrupted or missing files were contributing to the Issue.
