[2022] Unable to launch game following recent update

Since the most recent update (1.5.0.1) I have not been able to launch the game. I get an 'Unable to start the game. This product cannot be activated right now" message whenever I try to launch.

I have been playing the game fine up until this point so I am not sure why the game even needs 'activating' after the update.

I tried to go through the 'contact us' section on support but got the message that only chat support was available, and then another message saying that chat support was unavailable and to please use another method of contact, of which there seem to be none.

Please advise how I can get this game back up and running again. If only there was an option to roll back updates.
