[2022] i need help with a stuck gray screen

i've tried googling this but it comes up with results on getting a gray screen when you die. this happens when i press new game it lets me choose the different difficulties (i've tried different combintations nothing changed) but after i chose the difficulty it got stuck on a gray screen. i've tried changing graphic setting, i also tried updating different drivers including my gpu (gtx 1660 ti) but nothing has worked, if anyone know what to do please help me
