After taking a break from Valhalla due to how clearly rushed it was, I came back a couple weeks later and my Jomsviking, which I spent two hours randomising to get (this wouldn't be necessary if we could actually create them) now looks completely different and has a different name. Before, my Jomsviking was called Tassi the Berserker and I was very pleased with his name and appearance. Now, he is called Fyl the Frigid and looks like a neanderthal.
