I've merged together several posts about being unable to progress in "The Flame and the Forge" due to the cutscene not playing as expected. I apologise if any conversations have been disrupted by this merge. Creating a single thread helps us to keep all information and updates from an investigation in an easy-to-find place.
Thank you for taking the time to share your reports with us. I can confirm that the dedicated teams have been notified of this issue occurring in-game, and that they are investigating further. I've now forwarded all of the reports that have been shared with us so far within this thread so the team can take a closer look at these as part of the ongoing investigation.
If you have been affected by this issue, please can you ensure that you have an up-to-date copy of your save file uploaded to the Cloud? You can check this by looking for the cloud icon on your most recent save file.
Additionally, the team are interested in collecting videos which demonstrates the issue in-game. If you are able to, please would you be able to share a video which shows the following:
- You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.
- Your active quest log, showing that you are currently progressing through "The Flame and the Forge."
- That the cutscene does not / has not triggered as expected during this quest, and you are unable to progress.
I'd recommend uploading any videos to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread we can take a closer look at.
