I've been trying to play Valhalla for less than a week. Reported over ~200 crashes.

Is it that buggy for everyone? I've tried everything recommended on the internet: from limiting fps, running as admin, removing read-only, deleting cache files, reinstalling/repairing, trying different window modes, adaptive fps, vsync on/off/adaptive, nvidia fast sync / vertical sync and locking to 60fps, downvolting and downclocking GPU, removing all external overlays (deleted the Windows one as well) - nothing helps. It (seemingly randomly) crashes every 2-40 min.

No issues with other games (RDR2, FO76, Control etc).

At this point, I'm ready to give up and throw this game into the trash as unplayable. But if there is something else that might help to solve the issue, I'd really appreciate that.

Thanks.

Hello Vikings,

Sorry to hear that your game keeps crashing.

Can you please perform all of the troubleshooting steps listed in this article? This will help you to eliminate any potential software conflicts that can cause crashes.

Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

I'm sorry that didn't help @theemperormax. 😞

Can I have you create a Support Case and attach your system files, then grab me the case number? This will help me take a better look into what's going on.

Thank you!

Please excuse my delay in response @theemperormax! 😞

I did take a look at your case and it looks like they were waiting for a video clip of the issue to report to the teams for further investigation. (Even if it shows as closed, you're still able to reopen it.)

That being said, just from looking at the most recent files you'd uploaded, I can see that there are quite a few start-up programs and overlays. I would maybe suggest disabling these just until we get to the root of what's causing these crashes. I'd also recommend making sure that your Microsft Visual C++ Redistributables are updated as well.

While I understand that you may have already completed these, they are issues I saw when I looked at your files. If you've updated things since then I'd attach the new system files and the video they requested on your case so they can work towards getting this resolved.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
