[2022] Einherjar bow not appearing in my inventory

I am having the same problem of the Einherjar bow not appearing in my inventory as reported in this thread:

I have purchased the (free) bow via Ubisoft connect, it shows as having been purchased, yet it does not appear in my inventory despite me quitting and re-launching the game. One person solved the problem by changing regions, but I can't do that as I just started the game.

This is on the PC version.
