[2022] Holy Day Mission crashing, cant finish the mission

So every time I jump to the burning village end fight, after Soma dies, the game lets me kill some soldiers and then crashes. Every. Single. Time. I have found threads to this issue from over a year ago but with no solution, and this bug was never fixed in the following releases since clearly, it is still happening. I have restarted over 10 times since the game keeps crashing and nothing works
