I'm getting several issues whilst playing AC Valhalla on the PC.

Worst of all, which is making the game a total chore to play, is the long load times before starting a conversation with an NPC. It goes to a black screen with the loading/autosave symbol in the bottom right for about 15 seconds every time I talk to an NPC. This applies to merchants, main story characters etc.

While sailing (in Norway or England), there are split-second pauses accompanied by the autosave/loading icon at the bottom right literally every 3-4 seconds. This is quite immersion-breaking!

There are so many missing textures, for example a cutscene involving Burghred showed his charcter and several others as static dummies for several seconds while the scene continued, before the character textures finally popped into place. Ladders, walls and iron ore deposits look like mush most of the time too.

I have an SSD, and loading times on all other new games aren't an issue.

I have verified the game's files on Ubisoft Connect twice.

I have also installed the latest drivers for my 3060Ti .

Does anybody have similar issues, or better a solution please?

Hi there @mrbalaclava, I'm really sorry to hear that this is happening when you play AC Valhalla.

It sounds like you have already done a few of the steps that I was going to suggest, updating your GPU drivers and verifying the game files.

From here I recommend doing a complete reinstallation of the game. We always recommend that your Ubisoft Connect client as well as your game are installed on the same drive that Windows is installed on (Usually C drive).

You can do the other troubleshooting that is recommended in our PC technical issues guide, and we also have a PC graphical issues guide that might be helpful too.

If you are still having these kinds of problems after completing everything I said above, please generate MSInfo and DxDiag files from your PC and send them to our dedicated Support team by making a new case on our Support Website, as there may be some deeper issues with your PC that they would be able to identify.
