[2022] Steam version has no achievements

Hello, I don't know if I opened this in the right section, apologies if not.
I want to know if this game will ever have achievements on steam?

I know the game has them already and I was very hyped when the game released on steam ((and I think a lot of people are), but missing achievements is a big turnoff.
So is there an intention to add them later or will they be skipped forever?
