Just bought Assassin's Creed Valhalla (Complete Edition) from the Epic Games Store and finished installing it (total file size ~139GB). Upon trying to launch, Ubisoft Connect opens and prompts me to download 125GB worth of updates.

This problem is not limited to AC: Valhalla - I cannot open Fenyx: Immortals Rising or The Division 2, both of which were also installed on EGS. However, these games differ from AC: Valhalla in that I cannot launch these games at all, as EGS says "Launching" and then simply aborts the launch. Looking at these games from Ubisoft Connect prompts me to download them from scratch, despite their install path being set correctly.

For each of these games, the correct file path is notated in Ubisoft Connect (D:/Program Files (x86)/Epic Games/______), but this does not appear to have any impact. I have also duplicated the files and moved them to my Ubisoft Game Launcher directory, but this too appears to have had no impact.

This problem is limited to Ubisoft titles and I would appreciate any guidance in remedying these issues.

Thank you for getting in touch, I'm sorry you're having issues launching these titles.

Just to confirm, have you also tried using the 'Locate Installed Game' button underneath Download in Ubisoft Connect to select the game's files to see if this helps with the re-installing issue?
