[2022] Enemies don't see me kill others in front of them or dodge around putting their backs to me

I have been playing in Ireland and came across a group of about 5 enemies. I had the chance to assassinate 1 but I was trying to get them to fight me and the guys were just walking around trying to figure out what happened to their friend like I was a ghost. I was able to assassinate each 1 with me being right in front of them. There's soldiers that keep dodging around putting their backs to me like they didn't know where I was. I could have assassinated them if they stayed in place long enough. I was trying to figure how to kill with my own weapons instead of the enemy's. I think I figured it out. The taking enemy's weapons away killing them with their own weapons but I think they should have made the kills with our own weapons show cinematic and easier than killing with enemy's weapons. I have see enemy's throw shields down just for it to bounce back into their hand like they are Captain America or something.
