EDIT: I managed to complete this after posting this report.
If you stand at the starting position just before the first floating platform meets the edge of the area you standing on to cross the gap, there is some grass on the corner. If you stand on the grass piece you are able to shoot the light beam allowing it to rotate and being able to start the first floating platform again.
I equipped the predator bow for this because when you aim at the light beam at the corner of the wall you will see a red dot on your aim but doesn't look like you are going to shoot anything. Once the light beam rotates once you will see a bigger piece stick out from the corner allowing you to shoot it again easier as in my case to start the first floating platform again.
Upon starting the first platform it was relatively easy to complete the puzzle.
How do you reset the puzzle in the 2nd chamber in Eden Ring?
I was trying to align the bottom puzzle with the floating platform and accidently jumped off the edge. At the time when I jumped off, the platforms weren't moving as the last light beam was not in the correct position. I am able to climb up to the starting point however, there should be access to climb to the 2nd point so I am able to restart the floating platforms, but as you can see in the video, there is no way for me to complete this puzzle without resetting the puzzle or having access to climb to the 2nd point to restart floating platforms.
Currently I cannot complete the puzzle because of this, or I am missing a checkpoint to reset the puzzle so I am able to complete.
