I update my Valhalla this afternoon and played two new river raid maps, then I log out and turn off my Computer came back later on this evening log in and Valhalla wants to update again WHY! It's the same for Anno 1800 and watch dog legion what is wrong with Ubisoft Connect today? When Valhalla loaded I went to my load games and all my save games reads Data Corrupt saves [censored], and only one game save when I was in Pairs three days ago and now the new river raid maps don't load on the map so I can't start them all those hours wasted today this TU 1.3.1 is bugged with Connect.

I just shut the computer down again log in Connect and got the same problem Valhalla, Anno 1800, Watch dog Legion, wants to update?

Hello there!

I've merged together some threads about save data becoming lost / corrupted following the release of TU 1.3.1. I apologise if any ongoing discussion has been disrupted by this merge.

Thank you for taking the time to share your reports with us. To help us to take a closer look at this, please can you provide us with the following information:

  • Which platform do you play on (PC / PlayStation / Xbox)?
  • Have you been able to successfully update your game to TU 1.3.1? If so, were you able to play any of the game on TU 1.3.1.?
  • Did your game "re-update" after downloading TU 1.3.1 originally?
  • When was your latest save created?
  • Do all of your saves show as corrupted, or only some? If you're able to provide an image showing your corrupted saves, this will be helpful for further investigation.
  • Can you please send us an image that shows your game has TU 1.3.0 installed. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.


Can you also confirm if you were able to access your saves again if your game did update back to TU 1.3.1? Or do your saves still remain corrupted?

Thanks for sharing your report with us, @quanzaizai. I've notified the dedicated teams so they can take a closer look at what could be causing this roll-back to occur. I've now shared your report with them as part of the ongoing investigation.

You've mentioned that you plan to reinstall the game. If you do reinstall the game and it still shows as TU 1.3.0 as installed, please can you send us an image, as well as an image of your corrupted saves? We can then pass these along to the dedicated teams.

We are unable to guarantee that we will be able to recover any lost or corrupted saves however, we are actively investigating the issue and will update this thread when we have more information. In the meantime, I would also recommend against deleting any corrupted saves at this time.
