Hello all!

First of all I've been playing assassin's creed Valhalla for the past month on my PS4 slim 1TB. I currently have been playing for approximately 75 hours into the campaign so I think I have enough experience to address some very common issues I had during my gameplay. I haven't finished the storyline yet because I try to do everything in each region. The version of the game is the latest available ( updated with the 1.5.01. patch I think a few days before).

1. From the beginning of the campaign up to this point I come across consistently on bugs during dialogues. To be more precise, when npcs have a long sequence of words to say some of the segments are delayed. For example if their answer to Eivor consists of two sentences ,the first one may take a while to start playing, so the second sentence begins at a point where the first one hasn't finished yet, cutting it short. The same can happen in a dialogue between npcs where they interrupt each other. Long story short many dialogue segments are delayed.

2. During monastery raids there are some minor fps drops which are very often accompanied from immense sound glitches. This started happening during the Oxenefordshire arc and never before as I remember. To be more precise I had major sound glitches during the raid in Saint Albanes monastery and then in another monastery in the north-west part of Oxenefordshire (can't remember the name). I didn't come across these issues during raids in Norway or Ledecestre or East Anglia for example. The sounds of battle appear somewhat "broken" and glitched as if there was a malfunction in the speakers. I hear glitched and interrupted sfx. I don't know how I can explain it better. Also the combat music slows down during these sfx glitches and then returns to normal speed.
It is important to add that all these issues have NOT appeared during battle with multiple npcs in other situations in the open world, NEITHER boss fights or the River Raids (I have played the river raids in river Severn and river Exe).

I know that sound issues may stem from a HDD malfunction. I have tested many other "heavy" games and didn't come across to any sound problems whatsoever. My PS4 is 3 yrs old and I have treated it with care from the first day of use.

Would you look into this please ? Perhaps you could fix it with your next patch. It is an important issue considering that raids and dialogue sequences are a major aspect of the game. It is a shame for the immersion to be broken so often during the gameplay.
Other players who came across these issues may be able to describe them better ( English isn't my native language :))

Thanks in advance!

@edwardzgr Hey there, welcome to Discussions! I'm sorry we weren't able to get back to you sooner on these issues.

First of all, can you complete the steps in our basic PS4 troubleshooting guide? This will rule out a number of issues with the console itself or your installation. If these issues still persist after those steps, I would appreciate if you could record some videos and link them in this thread.
