The screen flashes during the game, making it unplayable. I've red than in many cases, turning off DOF fixes the problem. But not for me.
Any suggestions? I've tried:

I'm sorry to hear you are having some flashing lights on screen whilst playing the game. Could you provide a video example to show us what exactly is happening please?
If you could also let us know the following this would be good to know too:
Does it happen randomly, or when you are doing something specific, or is it constant?
When does it start? At the main menu, during the splash screens, or only when loaded into the world?
