Earlier today I pre-ordered Assassin's Creed Valhalla for a friend (as a gift). As I'm not accustomed to digital purchases of games I accidentally purchased it on my recently created account instead of gifting it to his account (if gifting is even possible). I tried refunding but got a "not eligible for refund" note, then I tried creating a case on Ubisoft support and got an error "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later" (also live chat is not working). The question is, can I get a refund, then purchase the game on his account, or can the game be transferred to his account?

I'm afraid we don't offer gifting on the Ubisoft Store. For all of the above queries, it would be best for you to contact us privately. You can do so using one of the below methods:

- Support Case
- Live Chat
- Facebook PM
- Twitter DM

In short, we may be able to transfer the game, or refund it if you're eligible - but that will require investigation. Please contact us using one of the methods above and we'll be happy to take a closer look!
