[2022] game deadlocks/crashes when changing armor pieces

The game keeps deadlocking/crashing once you switch some armor pieces in the inventory since dawn of ragnarök - a few clicks work, then the game just hangs up and you have to kill it via task manager.

The issue can be offset by a bit when closing the inventory after each change, but it will still crash after a few more armor piece changes.

Verifying files didn't help - neither did reinstalling.
