Interesting forum - it's very slow for me to navigate compared to the archived forums. Epic and ubisoft seem to have very similar issues for me... The actual problem though is below:

I've purchased valhalla from Epic games and it has is showing in my uconnect games list (thats fine), but I cannot launch the game from Epic games. During the linking process it appeared to all be successful (Edge browser), so i can install from the epic games launcher, but it will not run from there. There appears to be no way to redo the linking process once completed from the Epic end, but the ubisoft end is saying there is no linked Epic account.

This forum is my last resort - the help given so far from ubisoft wasn't relevant and I have not even had a response from Epic yet. I had a new game that's been sitting there for 2-3 days unplayed because of this issue. When I click to launch it asks for my ubisoft login and then comes up with this error:

Would be great if someone can share some ideas for how to unlink and relink

Hello @vorpalich and welcome to Discussions. First of all please accept my apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the screenshot provided as well as for the feedback regarding comparison Discussions and Forums Usability.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing "An Epic Games service is unavailable at the moment" error and as far as I understand you already have been in touch with out customer support Team by submitting a case. Since this is an account related issue, we can not discuss it publicly, therefore could you please confirm for me that you have tried to test if the issue persists on new Windows profile after setting to default different browser than previously used?
You can also uninstall the game and install it directly from Ubisoft Connect, without launching Epic. This should help to bypass the error when launching from Epic.

Please let me know if you need our assistance.
