I acquired all of the "special" runes on the SoP content when I played it on release but only now it has come to my attention that the resistance merchant's inventory doesn't refresh.

Is it not possible to acquire more copies of those runes? If I accidentally sell them are they just lost forever? Not that there is anything game changing about those but it would be a shame to lose something that is irrecoverable. I saved the game and sold those runes just to see if they would show up on that merchant's inventory again but as expected, they didn't.

If that is the case, is it a bug or is it yet another one of those genius things in this game that doesn't make sense/works properly per "design choice"?

So I take it that you've deleted some of these and are no longer able to recover. If this is the case indeed, would you be able to specify which one have you deleted? Also, as this is something that we will need to forward over to our game team for further review, would it be possible for you to advise us what platform you play the game on as well as provide your save file where issue is present? To do so, all you need to do is simply upload it to cloud as per steps outlined here.

I apologise for the delayed response. As confirmed by @Ubi-Nacho, the dedicated teams are currently looking into this issue with being able to sell exclusive runes, without being able to acquire these again. They haven't informed us about what the "intended" nature of selling the exclusive runes is (such as being unable to sell them, or the runes becoming available to purchase again), so we would be unable to speculate on what this is.

I've also shared your concerns about the exclusive runes that can be purchased as part of the "Dawn of Ragnarok" expansion as well, so the team can look into these too.

Thanks for sharing your feedback about an engraving system, similar to the one used in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I've passed this feedback along to the dedicated teams for further consideration.

Any updates to the runes in-game will be published within patch notes made available in the News & Announcements forum, so I'd recommend keeping an eye out there for more information.
