We need an episodic save, or auto save in River Raid due to crashes!

I just played River Raid for the new champion quest in River Rhine, about an hour long of prep work for the boss fight to get food, and all enemies killed at the location. Then I defeated the new champion.

When I set sail on the river, right before I was about to select to go home, the game crashed! After an hour of gameplay and killing the champion.

I know we don't have save function during River Raids to increase the risk for getting killed.

But that does not mean to increase the risk for our game to CRASH!

Please give us something like episodic or auto save during river raids after finishing each location in case of crashes. If we get killed, delete the save. Dying is part of the risk. Our own fault. We die we lose.
But if the game crashes, we then have a point where we can continue without losing all the stuff we have accomplished already. Because crashes are Ubisoft's fault. We should not be punished for them.

Hello @randelia,

Thank you for sharing your suggestion!

Although I cannot promise changes will be made, all feedback is incredibly helpful as we continue working hard to improve the overall quality of our games. I'll gladly pass it along to the team.

Regarding crashes, can you please perform all of the troubleshooting steps listed in this article? This will help you to eliminate any potential software conflicts.

Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Hey @randelia

So we can look into the crashes further with you to see what may be causing them, we'll need to get these system files from you to look into this further.

DX Diag

MSInfo - Please run this file straight after the crash, as it will show the most recent errors happening on your PC when it crashed.

Please can you contact us via live chat or support ticket here, to send us those?

As live chat isn't always available, you can also reach out through a private message on Twitter or Facebook if you prefer, as that will also create a case for you and we can then get your system files off you through there.

Please also mention what steps you have already done, or just provide links to those articles so they don't get suggested to you again. Also, if contacting on Twitter or Facebook messages, please provide your account username and email, so we can link the chat to a support case so you can attach the files.

Hey @randelia

You can attach an MSInfo from now if you like, just also mention when the crash happened (date and time) if you can and we can look at the errors happening around that time. But if you also happen to experience it crash again and can run one straight after too, you can send that too and let us know so we can compare them and see what's happening between the 2.
