I have been playing anno 1800 for more than 6 months. I haven't encountered any issues with this game until the recent update for the new dlc. After installing this new dlc I am unable to play this game more than 5 minutes. It keeps on crashing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice and updating my graphic driver. But nothing works. Please help me out.

Thanks for that @Noobgamer3601, you're certainly above spec.

Have you attempted any of the troubleshooting steps linked below?

Thanks for getting back to us @Noobgamer3601 and for noting Dx11 works.

I presume you were able to play on Dx12 previously?

To allow us to investigate further, could you please open a case via our Support Site and attach your DxDiag and MSinfo system files?

With those, we can look into what else may be preventing the game from running properly.

Please let us know if you have any issues with this.

Thank you!

Hey @AndyStennett, thank you for taking the time to describe exactly what is happening.

In order to assist you further, our teams would need to analyse your System files (Dxdiag and MSinfo32) that you provided in your case.
So we will get in touch with you as soon as someone had a look at them.

PS: I have moved all your messages in the same topic that you created.

Hey there @Noobgamer3601

Based on the DX Diag file that you sent us most recently on the case that you have open, your graphics driver was last updated in July. You will need to update that driver, and make sure you install any pending Windows updates as well.

You should also verify that you have all of the DirectX and Microsoft .Net Framework redistributables required by the game installed.

Because your ticket is rather old at the moment, I would also suggest opening a new one and submitting an updated DXDiag file, showing that the above suggested troubleshooting has been performed.
