I havent found this in Known issues so...

On the photo quests the game became uncontrollable, like when I press buttons they having a huge lags (10-20 second and most of the time doesnt even respond), camera starts floating like I'm pressing random direction (which I'm not) and I cant even exit the game except through the closing the game from Task Manager, this happens only in quests with photos. No errors no sounds or something like that the game just stop responding on controls and randomly do things
It happens in 50%-70% of quests and 100% of time when I play more than half an hour. I can recreate it, I've got any photo quest getting the camera to the photo place, boom! the controls go mad. New world Old world no matter

To help us look into this could you please provide us with a video of that issue occurring? This will help us to look into this.

Hi tainder2010,

Thanks for getting in contact with us

Can I also check if you have verified the game files in case any installation file was corrupted?

Also, are you able to provide me with an image of this happening or a video?

What happens if you take the photo of the person or building you are supposed to? Will it still mark the quest as complete if you are in the correct area?

Thank you tainder2010 for getting back to me and providing us with that video clip.

Also, hello db8662 and welcome to the forums!

I appreciate you reaching out to us and I appreciate the time and effort you have spent giving us information and your opinion on what causes it.

I will pass on the information you have both given me to our Anno game team to investigate further.

Thank you for helping our community <3

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on this situation, the game team got back to us and asked could all players experiencing this photography bug please submit us the following files through our support site here -
https://support.ubisoft.com/Cases/New or upload them to a file sharing site where we could download them please.

The files we need from each player who is experiencing this, are -

- dxdiag
- msinfo
- Engine.ini file
- a save game with a "But my smile stays on" quest in the Arctic, that cannot be completed by taking a photo, or any other similar quest that requires you to take a photo to progress

If I can gather this information from anyone we will have a better chance of recreating the issue on our side and then we can try to fix this.

Thanks all!
